Compensation in relation to breast implant defect

In 2023, the team of the Law Firm "Haleva and Mitkova" successfully carried out a client's representation in front of a well -known chest implant producer in order to obtain compensation for damages caused by implants. The compensation consists in restoring the value of the new implants set by the client.

In December 2018, the notified EU Medical Devilment Authority refused to renew the self-certificate of compliance of some of the most commonly used textured implants, which shows whether the prostheses meet the requirements for safety, efficacy and quality. In July 2019, the manufacturer began a global withdrawal of its textured breast implants and tissue expansions. The FDA (US Food and Medicines Control Agency), together with the manufacturer, is launching a campaign to stop the use of this type of implants and to return all unused implants to the manufacturer. These measures are imposed as studies have shown that the risk of BIA-ALCL (Breast Implant-Associated Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma) with textured implants from the particular manufacturer is approximately 6 times the risk of BIA-ALCL with other textured implanted implanted implants implanted implanted implanted implanted implanted implanted implanted implanted implanted implanted implanted implanted implanted implanted implanted implanted implanted implanted implanted implanted implanted implanted implanted implanted implanted implanted implanted implanted implanted implanted implanted implants implanted implanted implants implanted implanted implants implanted implanted implants implanted implanted implants implanted implanted implanted implants implanted implanted implants implanted implanted implanted implants implanted implanted implants implanted implanted implants implanted Implants. Our client puts her implants after treating cancer in 2018. In 2023, implants need to be eliminated due to redness, pain and established capsule contracture. In this case, it is precisely the implants withdrawn in 2019. For this reason, our team contacted the manufacturer and took all the necessary actions, including completion and provision of the required documentation in order to pay compensation.
